Rachel Thomas Pellman and her husband Kenny own and operate Rachel's of Greenfield where she designs and produces kits for small applique and pieced wall quilts, plus punchneedle embroidery. Most of Rahcel's designs are available as complete kits. Wall quilt kits include all the fabrics for the top, back, binding, embellishments, precise patterns, and complete instructions. The punchneedle kits include patterns, illustrated instructions, foundation fabric and all the flosses. With everything in hand, quiltmakers and punchneedle enthusiasts from novice to expert can have the satifaction of completing a project.

of Amish women, the histories of their quilts, and current
trends in Amish quiltmaking. She has authored and co-authored
numerous books including Amish Wall Quilts, The World of Amish
Quilts, A Treasury of Amish Quilts and Tips for Quilters.
Other ventures include designing a new line of fabric this
season with P & B Textiles. She teaches and lectures at
local guilds and has participated in educational programs
at Sotheby's and American Folk Art Museum in New York City.
Rachel grew up in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, the youngest
